Or to put it another way... now you've found Find a Model what happens next?

In the first couple of weeks of the site going live we received almost 3000 visitors, with a good percentage of those visitors going on to view a significant portion of the site content including your profiles. Our viral method of advertising is clearly working well to attract audience to the site, but in order to drive people to see your profile specifically you can get involved as well. We are not an agency and so whilst we are going to great lengths to promote the site as a whole we are not promoting any particular member or advancing them for a particular job, so if you want to be noticed you still have to get involved!

If you use other social networking sites such as MySpace or Facebook then go to the links page on Find a Model (once you are logged in) and insert the first of the links into your profiles. That is a link directly to your own profile and lets all your friends find you on Find a Model as well. They may even know of people who are looking for just your sort of 'look' and they can pass on the link to them.

Add the text Find me on www.findamodel.net to the signature line of your emails. Most email software, including the web based ones like Yahoo and Hotmail, allows you to add a signature that is automatically attached to everything you send and it is a great way to spread the word.

And of course, remember to tell people about the site. If you are talking to a photographer, ask him or her if they have a profile on Find a Model. If you are talking to other models then tell them about the site and get them to join (remember to tell them that it is and always will be free for a standard membership). More members means more jobs means more opportunities for you to get the break you want.
